According to the operator, employees of the Cayman Islands Dive Lodge who were quitting took their manager's elephant statue under water and padlocked it to the reef. The chain has long rusted away, and the overgrown statue can be hard to spot. The mooring sits at the foot of a sloping mini wall, with the main wall a short swim south. Ledges along the drop-off shelter surgeonfish, butterflyfish and damselfish.
