Shark Pit
Conosciuto anche come: Pigeon's Rock
Scubago describes a natural amphitheatre formed by an old cave. In the morning, in season, groups of five to more than forty sharks used to rest in the oxygen-rich water of the pit. Blue Water says that too many uncontrolled visits drove most sharks away and now calls the site Pigeon's Rock, although the exit of the pit still offers good exploring. Residence Peramal notes it cannot be dived in the usual south-south-east winds from May to September and is only for very experienced divers.
