The point is bordered by rocky drop-offs and blocks on both sides, then a plateau at the edge of the Posidonia meadow, with sand on the east side and seagrass on the west. The rock is full of holes like a Swiss cheese, home to conger eels, moray eels, forkbeards, spiny lobsters, scorpionfish and starfish. Lavandou Plongée praises the very bright east face, and Mio Palmo mentions a large anglerfish lying on the sand and fan mussels in the meadow. Current from east to west is possible.
