Le Togo

Conosciuto anche come: Ville de Valence

Loaded with coal, the ship was cut in two by the mine: the stern sank at once while the rest drifted a few hundred metres before going down. The forward section sits upright and well preserved, with the decoration of the stem still visible and walls covered in red and orange growth sheltering damselfish. Wannadive notes that the stern lies about 170 m away at 69 m and should not be combined with the bow in one dive. The wreck is usually sheltered from current and the water is clear, but its depth calls for careful planning and decompression.
