Le Prophète
The 42 m ship had arrived from Algeria with a cargo of wheat and had sheltered in the roadstead of Agay before she foundered. The remains spread over about fifty metres; the propulsion set with its huge flywheel, the very long shaft, the iron propeller, two well-preserved boilers, the anchors and the rudder are the highlights. The wreck attracts many fish and usually has good visibility, but it is exposed to wind and has no shelter when the sea gets up.
