The Lake

The Lake is the first site south of the residential beach villas. Its gently sloping bottom lets divers choose their depth, so it suits beginners and experienced divers and makes a good night dive. Staghorn coral, gorgonians and many juvenile fish fill the shallows. The name comes from the lake-shaped sand patch at about 20 to 24 m that separates the two reefs. Schools of reef fish circle over the healthy hard corals.
