Anchor Wreck
Conosciuto anche come: Anker Wreck
Nobody knows the ship's origin or name; it is called after the anchor that lies at about 5 to 8 m at the top of the reef. Divers follow the anchor chain down the steep coral wall to where it meets sand at about 30 m, where a second anchor and the flattened wreck appear. Copper sheeting, bottles and ceramics from its cargo are strewn over some 60 m down to about 50 m. Gorgonians and whip corals grow on the remains, bannerfish, fusiliers and batfish school around them, and whitetip reef sharks live in the deepest part. The wall's overhangs and caves at 5 to 10 m make a good place for a long safety stop.
