Dixies lies in the West End area of the north shore, where Roatan Dive Center lists it between Moonlight and Divemaster's Choice. Sun Divers names the stretch from Divemaster's Choice to Dixies among its favourite wall dives, and its drift from Moonlight passes over Dixies on the way to Vern's Drop Off. Roatan Divers lists Dixies Places among the wall and drift sites suited to technical divers.
