Goldmine
The name has nothing to do with treasure: the site lies off 'The Goldmine', a jewellery shop at the eastern end of the Punanga Nui market in Avarua. Its main feature is a group of coral bommies at about 24 m. Turtles are frequently spotted here. Adventure Cook Islands recommends it as a first dive of the day.
