Paraíso Perdido

Paraíso Perdido lies among the furthest sites from the María la Gorda dive centre, and one diver reports far more fish here than at the closer walls. Big shoals of jacks, tuna and barracuda move along the wall, and stingrays, snappers and grunts are common. In one dive report the dive began by passing through an undercut in the reef to reach the wall. Holes and cracks in the wall give cover to many fish and invertebrates, and sea fans, whips and large purple and yellow sponges become denser closer to the wall. The fan site describes it as a site for experienced divers only.
