Fonti Reef

Noumea Discovery names Fonti Reef in its list of the dive spots that give Hienghène its reputation, together with the Cathedral and Donga Hienga. According to Wannadive the reef lies some five miles offshore and is reached by boat in less than half an hour. Its main attractions are caves and gorgonians of impressive size. Wannadive reports no current, visibility of 10 to 30 m and an average depth of around 18 m, and it considers the site suitable for divers holding a first-level certification.
