Christine's Reef

Christine's Reef combines a main reef with smaller detached reefs linked by underwater saddles, and the saddle itself is usually the highlight. Divers cross staghorn coral before reaching large gorgonian fans, red whip gorgonians and big barrel sponges dressed with crinoids. A dark red sea fan at the southern end is a reliable spot for longnose hawkfish, and anemones with clown anemonefish sit at the northern end. Sandy channels and rubble hold critters such as crocodile flathead, sexy shrimp, ghost pipefish and spiny devilfish. Several moorings give quite different dives on the same complex.
