Victory Reef

Victory Reef runs north to south along the western rim of the Great Bahama Bank off the Cat Cays, where the reef slopes towards the Straits of Florida. The terrain is full of overhangs, caverns and swim-throughs, covered in sponges and corals. Turtles and reef sharks are regulars, while hammerheads, wahoo and mahi mahi pass by from open water. Several moorings allow different dive profiles, and when the current runs the reef is done as a drift dive. Many divers count it among the finest sites in the region.
