Watuai is known for its mix of small critters and bigger visitors. In 2015 the German diving magazine Unterwasser listed it among the ten best house reefs in the world. Blue-spotted stingrays lie buried in the sand patches and turtles rest beneath the table corals. Between the corals and reef fish it pays to look out into the blue, where spotted eagle rays and sharks pass by.
