Travel to Tuvalu
Tuvalu is the fourth-smallest country in the earth by land area, consisting of nine islands, three of which are reef islands; the remaining six are atolls. To make the most of the country, it is finest to experience the amazing waters of the Pacific Ocean through marine activities for example diving or snorkeling, only coming on shore to rest and relax at the end of the day. Numerous visitors also enjoy the recreation of island hopping, with chartering a yacht possible. While in Tuvalu, you can experience a traditional dance by heading to the nearest Maneapa (town hall). Ceremonies are performed at various times of the year to celebrate a range of traditions and local culture.
Diving in Tuvalu
Tuvalu is a simply wonderful place to go scuba diving. Three of the islands are made from coral, making them exciting dive locations, while the Funafuti Lagoon comprises reef, lagoon, and oceanic habitats. Tuvalu, formerly well-known as the Ellice Islands, is a Polynesian island. Its nearest neighbours are Kiribati, Samoa and Fiji. The nine islands of Tuvalu are all tiny coral atolls and Funafuti is the capital. Tuvalu is made nearly completely of coral, so diving here is remarkable. The Funafuti lagoon is 14 km spacious and about 18 km stretched. Fraction of the Tuvalu Funafuti Conservation region, it incorporates reef, lagoon, channel, ocean and islands habitats.
