Taiwan has five main attractive diving regions with incredible visibility and diverse sea life year-round: Kenting, Orchid Island, Green Island, Xiao Liu Qiu, and Dungji Island. Kenting is the most popular destination of the bunch. Dive sites in Orchid Island include coral gardens and a striking Korean tanker wreck at 100 feet (30 meters.) Green Island also contains Shark Point, possibly the most renowned dive site in the country. Dungji Island is famous for its drift diving due to the strong currents of the Taiwan Strait. Pelagic fish species are usually spotted. There are numerous appealing wrecks in the area.
