Travel to Togo

Togo possesses about 30 miles of beaches where leisurely pursuits such as diving and snorkeling, or just relaxing on the fine golden sand while lapping up the sounds of the waves, can be enjoyed. For local experiences, you can go hiking or on a safari tour by vehicle. If you are daring, you can take a look at the landscape from above as you hurtle toward it with a parachute attached to you by skydiving. The best beaches are within easy reach of Lome, making spending a day at the beach extremely tempting. The most famous beaches which are easily reached from the capital include Le Ramatou and Robinsons Plage.

Diving in Togo

Togo is a narrow country in West Africa. The Gulf of Guinea coastline is low and sandy. The Togo hills traverse the central section. Covered in Gorgone fans, which turn from a dark purple to a deep red when illuminated it is a delight to swim around in such clear water. The Togo is a cargo ship which went down in the 1st WW it split in two when sinking, and the bow is the shallower part. Another beautiful wreck in the Cavalaire Bay is the Espingole. She lies a bit further to the South than the Togo on a sandy bottom.
