Seychelles’ natural beauty has enthralled tourists for centuries, but this archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean – many of which still snooze in their original, unspoiled state – offers more than just beaches. From marine adventures to lip-tingling Creole cuisine, there are lots of reasons to visit this tropical heaven. It goes without saying that the culture mix creates a fiery experience for travelers wishing to sink their feet deep into this attractive island. It is also a luxury hotspot: five-star resorts with white-sand beachfronts, polished restaurants, and stylish hotels everywhere. But you do not have to be a millionaire to enjoy it.
The Seychelles is made up of more than 100 attractive islands of diving paradise. There are two main groups of islands to explore: the Inner and Outer Islands. Mahé dive sites are world-renowned and offer some of the best dives sites in the Seychelles for wreck fans. One of the main reasons to visit the Seychelles is to dive with whale sharks. They can be found off the southern side of Mahé Island. The main diving islands are Mahé, La Digue and Praslin - part of the inner island group. There are also dive centers on outer islands like Alphonse.
