Travel to Oman

Oman is the obvious option for those seeking out the modern face of Arabia while wanting still to sense its ancient soul. The panorama of Oman is stunning, ranging from the world’s tallest sand dunes to wild beaches and rugged mountains. The scenery of Oman is as gorgeous above the waves as it is underneath. Endless deserts, wadis, valleys and mountains hold a majestic exquisiteness. Oman is ideal for a multi-activity holiday because of the close proximity of great dive sites to Oman’s other must see destinations. However, if you are seeking a really exclusive experience, in a secure environment with spectacular panorama and the friendliest local population, Oman is the ideal getaway.

Diving in Oman

Oman’s coast is quite unharmed and there is some fantastic diving near the capital of Muscat. You can also head to Oman's northernmost region of Musandam, which juts into the Strait of Hormuz at the mouth of the Persian Gulf. This rugged, distant land has nutrient rich waters that maintain a huge amount of diversity and loads of amazing marine life. Here divers can enjoy the chance to dive on beautiful reefs with thrilling sea life, including the elusive whale shark. Far to the south, the area around Salalah has an unspoiled coastline with apparently endless beautiful bays and beaches.
