The Netherlands is a small country packed with historic brick filled and cobblestone laned cities, an interrelated system of canals (you can travel most of the country just via the canals), stunning and vast farmland, iconic windmills, and even some lovely beaches. Finding an excuse to visit the Netherlands is rarely hard, thanks to the nation’s attractive cities, gorgeous countryside, and world-leading cultural attractions. From winding canals to fields of blooming color, this tiny country holds a great amount of tradition, culture and unrivalled magic. Netherlands offers something to every type of traveler – the hopeless romantic, the photography fanatic, the history buff, and the nature lover!
Diving in the Netherlands it is mostly done in old sand dredges. The real diving mecca in Holland however, is Zeeland, with Lake Oosterschelde as the major attraction. Because of its enormous biodiversity, Lake Oosterschelde is worldwide well-known as an attractive diving area. Other key diving areas are Lake Grevelingen in Zeeland and fresh water Lake The Vinkeveense Plassen. The Vinkeveense Plassen is one lake that includes numerous dive sites. The wild North Sea contains at least 10,000 shipwrecks along the coast of The Netherlands. Many of these wrecks are outside of recreational limits, but a few provide challenging dive sites for advanced divers.
