A very enthralled corner of the Mediterranean, there are lots of reasons why you should travel to Lebanon. The food is renowned, and its wild past, also. There are innumerable things to do in Lebanon, lots of places to visit, people to meet and stories to tell. Lebanon is a multifaceted country with multi-layered communities, diverse landscape, different languages, and wonderful experiences! Lebanon, that small country on the Mediterranean coast, occupied by so many renowned civilizations throughout the centuries, is regaining its standing as a tourist destination. Lebanon is however blessed with splendid mountain vistas, magnificent ancient ruins and friendly people.
Diving in Lebanon
AUB Canyon was one of the best diving spots well-known in the 60’s. It accustomed to be called the Sharks hole as fishermen used to grab sharks from the deep end of the canyon. Currently, sharks are almost missing on that spot. The walls on this reef are steep, stunning, full of small caves and fishermen’s nets, with a big old anchor lying at 43m. The “Souffleur” can be ranked among one of the best WWII wrecks in the earth. Shark point is a spot composed of 5 reefs, which includes some plateau sections and a deep canyon running along every reef towards the east.
