Travel to Kuwait

Kuwait is a gorgeous country that people seldom mention when recommending new places to travel. Tucked right above the Persian Gulf, this small country has one of the tallest skyscrapers in the earth to memorialize its freedom, overshadowing the real exquisiteness of its number of mosques, museums, and other historic sites. While generally an oasis of desert plains, visitors to Kuwait will be amazed by the attractions on offer as well a deep and enthralling history, a heritage dating back to antiquity that still permeates the everyday lives of the people living in the desert oasis. History buffs would be delighted to discover all of the things they didn’t know.

Diving in Kuwait

Situated in the northwestern region of the Arabian Gulf, Kuwait has a shoreline of around 100 miles. With clear seas and vibrant seascapes, it’s no wonder diving is a famous sport among locals and visitors alike in Kuwait. The finest diving can be found by travelling to islands not far from coast. At these nearby islands, you can discover some of the most varied coral reefs in the Middle East. Qaruh has a separate reef around its North Marker, hosting jacks and Needlefish, Batfish and Barracuda. Kubbar Island has some nice reef with some stunning marine life. Airifjan Wreck at 5 Mile Reef is an old barge lying in 12 metres alongside the reef.
