Travel to Hungary

At first glimpse, Hungary is a time machine, packed with structures and monuments that are considered treasure troves by its people and those who visit the East-European nation. From Roman ruins and medieval townhouses to baroque churches to neoclassical public buildings and art nouveau bathhouses and schools, there’s so much on offer - and we're not just talking about its capital, Budapest. Walk through Szeged or Kecskemét, Debrecen or Sopron and you’ll find out an architectural treasure at almost every turn. Definitely, several people go out of their way for another glance of their favorites, for instance the Reök Palace in Szeged or the Mosque Church in Pécs.

Diving in Hungary

Hungary is a land locked country surrounded by Austria, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, and Slovenia. So lake diving is the only choice, for example in Lake Balaton, where in winter ice diving takes place. There is also cave diving in some lakes. In Budapest, there is an underground thermal lake. The water is warm. Whilst the lower layer is more dormant, the warmer water pours towards the Alagút-spring. The spring of Molnár János empties into Lake Malom, which flows after a few hundred feet/meters into the Danube. Divers have found relics of Roman activity at the bottom of Lake Malom.
