Nach Bulgarien reisen

Unlike the other countries on the Balkan, in Bulgaria, you will discover huge Chinese, Arab, and Indian communities that conveyed a noteworthy part of their culture to this attractive country. Bulgaria is also the oldest country in Europe never to alter its name. Bulgaria has lots of mountains and almost one-third of its area is covered in thriving green forests. In addition, you will locate lots of mountain villages built in a 19th century ‘revival’ style so wondering around the Bulgarian mountains can make you feel like you traveled back in time. The Balkan Peninsula is one of those places – largely undiscovered and unaffected by development with stunning alpine mountains but without the crowds of the Alps.

Tauchen in Bulgarien

Dive into an earth of pleasure as you submerge off the coast of Bulgaria. One of the truly attractive dives is the ancient Roman port city submerged in 12m of water some 40 km north of Varna. The dive site is bordered by a wonderful archeological site on land where ancient Roman tombs were found and dug out decades ago. It is assumed that the wealth of Alexander the Great is buried in the locality. Another nice spot is German Black Sea Fleet at Varna Bay where you can experience the wreck of the WWII German Black Sea Fleet. Because of a large combination of fresh water and salt water, there is not a large amount of sea life.
