Spanning from the subtropics to the subpolar regions of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina sports some of South America's most varied and preferred dive locations for example Peninsula Valdes, famous amongst divers as a great place to enjoy the underwater whale song as it is a special breeding population of the rare Southern Right whale. Another famous dive site in Argentina is Monte Cervantes Shipwreck at Ushuaia, a major attraction in the famous and highly rated Beagle Chanel. The waters surrounding Argentina are generally clear with high visibility.
